Sugarcane, primarily grown domestically in Florida and Louisiana, flourishes in tropical climates. The harvesting season spans from mid-October to mid-March.

Gum arabic is harvested from Acacia trees in the “gum belt” of sub-Saharan Africa, with Sudan producing 70% of the global supply. The Acacia tree is tapped and the sap is collected, dried, and processed.

Happy with the results

At my house we love a Daiquiri and I always make it with simple syrup. I was happy to try it with Lieber & Co's classic gum syrup to compare the results in a blind tasting. I made two side by side and everyone in the household agreed that the Classic Gum gave it a little something extra that the simple syrup did not provide. Great product!
