Mort du Jour

An update to Hemingway's absinthe and champagne killer cocktail. 

Ingredients:

• ¼ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
• ¾ oz absinthe
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• chilled dry sparkling wine

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients except for sparkling wine to a mixing glass with ice
• Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled coupe or champagne glass
• Top with sparkling wine
