The "King Of Blackberries”

The marionberry is so popular today that most of the fresh berries don't make it out of the state of Oregon and are consumed en masse by local Oregonians. With its robust, subtly earthy flavor and juicy sweet-tart profile, who can blame them?

The Balanced Berry

With the ideal sugar to acid ratio, the marionberry is sweet, earthy, and subtly tart.

Tasty......and versatile

A love blackberries, and if you do as well, you are going to really enjoy this syrup. I've already tried several of the recipes that are included on this syrup's page but one of the ways I used it that worked well was in a Rum Runner. Rum Runner's have blackberry liquor as an ingredient but I tried replacing that with this syrup and it worked well. It may lower the alcohol content of the drink slightly but I thought it tasted great. You could always add a little more rum or the banana liquor if you wanted to do so to bring the alcohol content back up to that in a traditional recipe.

Marion BlackBerry Syrup

Great syrup! Adds just the right amount of berry punch to my bourbon smash, and a nice old fashioned variation
