Postcard Home
A distinct smoked-grapefruit character shines through in this blend of mezcal and amaro. Medium-bitter, with a lightly salted finish. Recipe from Amanda Schmadel at Barrel Proof in New Orleans.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Classic Gum Syrup
- 1 ½ oz mezcal
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz amaro (Sfumato Rabarbaro recommended)
Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker

Add cubed ice and shake hard for 10 seconds

Strain into a salt rimmed rocks glass filled with cubed ice.
