Mai Fashioned

A compression of a Mai Tai's flavor profile, plus an acidity from unexpected ingredients. This drinks definitely breaks some rules, but it's also definitely delicious!

Ingredients:

• barspoon Almond Orgeat Syrup
• barspoon Pineapple Gum Syrup
• 1 oz rhum agricole
  
• 1 oz aged rum
• dash acid phosphate
• dash Bittermen's Orange Cream Citrate
• dash Bittermen's Tiki bitters

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
  
• Stir 20 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass
• Garnish with a lime twist
