Matcha Highball
This refreshing drink uses just a small amount of Matcha (ground green tea leaves) to get a light tea flavor without any chalkiness. The recipe originally calls for Japanese whiskey, but feel free to use your favorite kind or experiment.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Classic Gum Syrup
- 2 oz whiskey
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ¼ tsp matcha
- club soda
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients, except for for soda, into a cocktail shaker
- Shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled highball glass
- Top with soda and garnish with a lemon slice
