Trinidad Sour
Created by NYC bartender, Giuseppe Gonzalez, this sour was one of the first to use bitters as a base spirit. Rich and spicy, the bitterness is balanced by a healthy dose of Almond Orgeat Syrup.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 1 oz aromatic bitters
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz rye whiskey
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with a lemon peel
