Cocktail by @theresidentmixologist. I don’t do cucumber drinks. Cucumber tastes too healthy for a cocktail. It’s like when someone suggests fresh fruit for dessert. However, through extensive trial and error, I have officially cracked my own palate’s cucumber code. If you are a cucumber skeptic like myself, this is worth a try. Don’t skip the salted rim
Ingredients:
- ¾ oz Texas Grapefruit Shrub
- 1 ½ oz aged gin
- ¾ oz mezcal
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz agave nectar
- 2 inches of cucumber slices
Instructions:
- Add cucumber slices to a shaker with the lime juice and muddle
- Add the rest of the ingredients with ice and shake
- Double strain into a glass with ice
