Rum with a vieux
A complex addition to the "brown, boozy, stirred" category, the Rum with a Vieux clearly takes notes from a Vieux Carre and a Sazerac while using a blend of rum and brandy as the base spirit.
Ingredients:
- ¼ oz Classic Gum Syrup
- 1 oz aged agricole rhum
- 1 oz cognac
- ¼ oz Jamaican rum
-
4 dashes Peychaud's bitters
-
2 dashes aromatic bitters

-
Stir 20 seconds and strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with a lemon twist
