Pop Quiz Cocktail

With a palate of herbaceous, spiced sugarcane, this amaro-tinged Old Fashioned makes for an excellent night cap. Pick a high-character amaro that isn't too bitter.

Ingredients:

• barspoon Classic Gum Syrup
• 2 oz bourbon whiskey
  
• ½ oz amaro (Ramazzotti recommended)
  
• 2 dashes mole bitters

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
  
• Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass
• Garnish with an orange twist
