Dead Man's Handle
Tequila and Aperol are a delicious pair, and orgeat nudges this toward Mai Tai territory. Tajin for a garnish nudges it back away from tiki and toward bring a great cocktail for Taco Tuesdays. This great cocktail is from Tiffany Kirk at Miss Carousel in Houston.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 1 ½ oz tequila

¾ oz Aperol

½ oz lime juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled tulip glass
- garnish with Tajín seasoning (a blend of lime, ground mild chilli peppers, and salt)
