Brandy Old Fashioned

Wisconsin does old fashioneds a little different. A lot of folks would say their version is odd, or maybe just wrong! But viewed through a different lens - don't expect a classic OF here - there's a lot of deliciousness to enjoy in the Wisconsin-style Brandy Old Fashioned!

Ingredients:

• ½ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
• 2 oz brandy
  
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  
• ¼ oz lemon juice
  
• 1 oz club soda
• maraschino cherry
• orange wheel

Instructions:

• Muddle cherry, orange and syrup in a mixing glass
  
• Add remaining ingredients with ice and stir for 20 seconds
  
• Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice
  
• top with club soda

• rocks

Garnish:

• maraschino cherry
