Blood Orange Canelazo

This spicy winter warmer is usually made by making a cinnamon syrup and then adding orange juice and rum. In our recipe, we mull cinnamon and Blood Orange Cordial before adding rum. This recipe makes two servings. 

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Blood Orange Cordial
  • 4 oz rum
  • 8 oz water
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients besides rum to a sauce pan
  • Bring to a simmer and mull for 15-30 minutes
  • Add all ingredients into mixing glass with rum
  • Stir 20 seconds and strain into a mug
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick
