Demerara Dry Float
A very storied tiki cocktail that is strong, and bursting with complex tropical flavors. Definitely not for the faint of heart, you may need to build up to this one!
Ingredients:
- ¼ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
- 1 ½ oz Tropical Passionfruit Syrup
- 1 ½ oz aged rum
- ¾ oz 151 proof rum
- 2 oz lime juice
- ¼ oz lemon juice
- ¼ oz maraschino liqueur
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients except 151 proof rum to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
- Strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass
- Top with a float of 151 proof rum
- Garnish with a mint and a cinnamon stick
