Fog Cutter
Another Trader Vic classic, the Fog Cutter calls for a blend of three different base spirits: rum, brandy, and gin, along with a float of Amontillado sherry. The result is a complex yet balanced cocktail whose allure has stood the test of time.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- ¾ oz white rum
- ¾ oz brandy
- ¾ oz gin
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- ½ oz Amontillado sherry
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a highball glass
- Garnish with a mint sprig
