Tiki Rum Old Fashioned

This Old Fashioned variation is taken to new levels with the raw sugarcane character of demerara blending beautifully with rums of all varieties.  Try a split base with 1 oz each of two high character rums to elevate it even further.  

Ingredients:

• ¼ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
• dash of Pineapple Gum Syrup
• 2 oz rhum agricole
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
• 2 dashes tiki bitters

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice
  
• Stir for 20 seconds and strain into chilled rocks glass over large format ice cube

Glass:

• rocks
  

Garnish:

• orange peel
