Mezcal Buzz
A mezcal cocktail From Jamie Boudreau at Canon. Long and refreshing, this cocktail showcases a mainstream application of mezcal.
Ingredients:
- ¾ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
- 1 ½ oz mezcal (a citrusy, low-smoke option recommended e.g. Montelobos)
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz egg white
- 2 dashes lime bitters
- 3 oz club soda
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients except club soda to a cocktail shaker with ice
- Short shake for 5 seconds and strain into a highball filled with ice
- Top with club soda and stir
