Isle of Islay
The Isle of Islay is a tropical, tiki-inspired cocktail that uses scotch as the base spirit, bringing a healthy amount of interest and complexity to a fruit-forward drink. An excellent cocktail for late Summer!
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Tropical Passionfruit Syrup
- 1 ½ oz blended scotch
- ½ oz single malt scotch, preferably Islay
- ½ oz cinnamon syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
- Strain over crushed ice in a highball glass
