Old Port Pain Killer
A blended riff on the classic Pain Killer cocktail - with substitutions of orgeat for coconut. The other key change is rhum agricole, which lends a salted grassy quality not found in the original. From Hunt & Alpine.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- ½ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
- 1 oz light Jamaican rum
- 1 oz rhum agricole
- 1 oz orange juice
- ¾ oz lime juice
- lime/citrus bitters
- 1 cup ice
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients into a blender
- Add ice and blend until smooth
- Pour into a chilled rocks glass
