Art of Choke
A drink that broke all the rules when Kyle Davidson first conjured it in 2008. Now it's a modern classic. What's interesting is opting for a split base where one half is an overproof amaro instead of a spirit. Also wild - this is a stirred cocktail!
Ingredients:
- ¼ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz Cynar
- barspoon Green Chartreuse
- barspoon lime juice
- fresh mint
Instructions:
- Muddle mint and syrup in a mixing glass
- Add remaining with ice and stir for 20 seconds
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass with fresh ice
