A bittersweet cocktail that's more accessible than its ingredient list may suggest.

Ingredients:

• ¼ oz Classic Gum Syrup
• 1 ½ oz Aperol
• 1 oz absinthe
• 1 oz lemon juice
• 1 dash orange bitters

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
• Strain into a chilled glass
• Garnish with an orange peel
