Snow Day

Cocktail by @elusivemoosedrinks. This Negroni riff was designed with cold weather in mind. It marries together some of my favorite winter flavors - warm spice, rich fruit, citrus, and herbs. It’s the perfect aperitif to enjoy with a light snowfall or, if you live somewhere like Texas, to transport you to your own, personal winter wonderland. It is also great for batching ahead of time

Ingredients:

• 1 barspoon Blood Orange Cordial
  
• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Amaro Montenegro
• 1 oz chai tea infused ruby port
• 3 dashes aromatic bitters

Instructions:

• For infusion, 1 tsp chai tea in 6 oz of ruby port for 20 minutes
  
• Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
• Stir 20 seconds and strain into a chilled rocks glass
• garnish with an orange peel twist
