This split-base riff on a spicy Bloody Mary gets its heat from both hot sauce and ginger, with soy sauce raising the savory quotient. From the Tipsy Muse.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
  • 1 oz aquavit
  • 1 oz gin
  • 2 oz carrot juice
  • ½ fresh lemon juice
  • dash soy sauce
  • few dashes hot sauce, to taste
  • 3 drops fennel bitters (optional)

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
  • Stir 20 seconds and strain into a chilled Collins glass or Mason jar with ice

Garnish:

  • pickled vegetables
