Creole Sazerac
This sazerac pays tribute to the flavors of the Carribbean. Using a high complexity rhum takes the flavor to new levels, while paying tribute to the Creole heritage of the Crescent City!
Ingredients:
- ¼ oz Classic Gum Syrup
- 1 ½ oz rhum
- ½ oz cognac
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- barspoon absinthe
Instructions:
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe
- Add remaining ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
- Stir 20 seconds and strain into the chilled rocks glass
- Express and garnish with a lemon peel
