The Home Bar - Susanna Cassady

by Brent Support 1 min read

Home Bar Full PictureSusanna Cassady works for Edible Austin putting together events and staying on top of their social media. Liber & Co. has been lucky enough to be featured at some of these events and we've loved working with her. Outside of work, she splits time between the great outdoors and the great indoors of Austin's restaurants and bars.

Though she loves to host, Susanna's favorite use of her home bar is a cocktail to unwind from the day while cooking dinner and listening to music.

Susanna Cassady Home Bar LiquorCalled "Simple Sus" by her friends for her clean taste and mostly keeping her liquor collection to the tried-and-true, it's clear in Susanna's bar that simple can be beautiful.  We also love how she's staged it in her home, a perfect complement to a shelf of eye-catching vinyl.

Susanna Cassady Home Bar Top ViewSusanna's favorite parts of her bar are the gold accents and the vintage decanter and shot glasses. Susanna found her bar online and rotates her collection of vintage glassware on the top shelf. She plans on adding a mixing glass to her collection, to aid on her quest to make the perfect martini.

Susanna Cassady Home Bar DetailSusanna always has Hendrick's Gin, an array of bitters, Topo Chico, and Liber & Co. Spiced Tonic Syrup (to go with the excellent gin) on hand. The drink she makes the most at home is the Blushing Kiss: gin, St. Germain, and grapefruit. Though her favorite cocktail is actually the Bee's Knees - her pro tip: for the best Bees Knees, seek out Travis at the Carousel Bar in New Orleans.  Find Susanna @slcassady and @edibleaustin
